I have a broad array of interests spanning marine ecology, technology and policy, and human interaction with the built and natural environment. An alumnus of Northeastern University’s Marine and Environmental Sciences undergraduate program, I have experience researching the effects of oceanic climate change on marine species and ecosystems here in New England and in northern California.

Prior to joining the Helmuth lab, I worked in several different roles to design and implement education and outreach initiatives related to marine environmental conservation and climate change. I am especially interested in helping cities structure their climate action plans, investigating best practices for resiliency in coastal infrastructure, and broadening the conversation around climate change to reflect the diversity of stakeholder interests at a local and regional scale.
