Peer Tutoring in the General Studies Program (GSP) brings successful former GSP students, currently attending Northeastern, to work as peer tutors. Peer tutoring appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis and can last up to an hour. An instructor can require or recommend peer tutoring; however, it is always the student’s responsibility to schedule tutoring appointments.

Cancelling a peer tutoring appointment requires a minimum of 24 hours notice. If a student cancels or fails to show up for a scheduled appointment for two consecutive times, the student will not be allowed to use the GS tutoring services for the remainder of the academic semester.
To cancel a scheduled peer tutoring appointment, students can visit the GS peer tutoring office weekdays between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., call (617) 373-8931, or e-mail the Peer Tutoring Program at email@example.com.
