The General Studies Program offers a Peer Mentoring Program to current GSP students who may feel they can benefit from the advice and support of an upperclass GSP alumnus. The goal of the GSP Peer Mentoring Program is to help students successfully integrate into the NU learning community, assist students navigating their way around the University resources, and support students in becoming actively engaged in their academic programs and student life. First-year students are most likely to benefit from having a peer mentor.
How to Request a Peer Mentor
GSP students can request a peer mentor by contacting Tina Kondopoulos at: t.kondopoulos@neu.edu.
How to Become a Peer Mentor
Upper-class GSP alumni may apply to become peer mentors by contacting Tina Kondopoulos at: t.kondopoulos@neu.edu
A peer mentor is a voluntary, unpaid position, but very rewarding.
