On Wednesday, August 28th current Northeastern University-Charlotte students and prospective students gathered on the campus for a special event, Experiencing Life as a Husky. This first-time event gave prospective students considering furthering their education the opportunity to ask their most pressing educational questions to those who best understand their worries—our current students. Prospective students got to hear about class format, coursework load, teaching styles and more. Current students gave advice on how to further your education while balancing a demanding professional and personal life. Representing a variety of degree programs and diverse backgrounds, the group bonded over shared experiences while enjoying light refreshments. At the end of the night, one thing was clear amongst all attendees—making the decision to further your education, as a working professional is not a decision you will regret.
Experiencing Life as Husky will return to the Charlotte campus this October. For more information on this and other events please visit our events page on our website. To see pictures from this and other events visit us on facebook.
