Program Description

With a Master of Science degree from Northeastern University's Clinical Exercise Physiology Program, you will influence society in profound ways, such as assisting with the rehabilitation of individuals following cardiac surgery, or after suffering a heart attack, or helping people cope with pulmonary disease, diabetes, or lower back pain. The Clinical Exercise Physiology Program reflects Northeastern's tradition of practice-oriented education. You interact with faculty contributing to research advances, as well as with Boston's world-class health-care and educational institutions. You learn in a comprehensive health-sciences college where teamwork and interdisciplinary approaches to complex issues reflect professional standards. Students studying Clinical Exercise Physiology do a full year of internship rotations at area hospitals. Also, you have the option of doing independent research and completing a thesis.
