Program Description

With a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D) degree from Northeastern, you will influence society in beneficial ways - assisting in the early identification of hearing loss and auditory disorders, providing services to help conserve hearing, and helping individuals with hearing loss to better communicate. In your first two semesters in our Doctoral program in Audiology, you will work in a supervised practicum at the University's own Speech, Language, and Hearing Center, utilized by members of the NU community and neighborhood residents who represent diverse populations. This prepares you for more advanced supervised clinical-practice placements in Boston's prestigious hospitals, outpatient clinics, educational institutions, and other practicum sites.
