Gordon Program

On Friday, September 13th, our Distinguished Speaker will be Tim Root, CTO and Executive VP of Business Development at Revolabs.

Location: 431 Stearns Center

Tim Root is currently the CTO and Executive VP of Business Development at Revolabs, a provider of wireless audio solutions for communication and a wide range of markets.    Prior to Revolabs, Tim is the inventor and a co-founder of VGo Communications and oversaw product development as its CTO and Vice President of Product Development.

Mr. Root has previously held senior management positions at OzVision, Polycom (PLCM) and PictureTel (PCTL) corporations. At OzVision Mr. Root served as CTO and VP Product Development. At Polycom he served as CTO & VP Business Development and VP Strategy and at PictureTel, he held Director of Product Development and CTO positions.  He is an industry recognized leader in applications of video to audio and video conferencing applications.

Tim has a dual degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology / Sloan achieving a SM in Management and Engineering, an MSEE, DSP and Video from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and a BSEE, Computers from Northeastern University.
