On November 29th, our Distinguished Speaker will be Joanne Mistler, Business Development Manager, Lockheed Martin Missile & Fire Control, Air & Missile Defense Systems. Current Gordon Fellow Candidates are invited to attend.

As an Electrical Engineering Co-op student and graduate of Northeastern University, Joanne became a strong technologist in RF/Microwave receiver and low-noise synthesis at Raytheon Missile Systems. After obtaining a Master’s Degree from Tufts University with a focus on microwave and communication systems, Joanne grew to be an expert in phase-locked-loop design and phase-noise characterization of seeker guidance systems.
With solid RF/Microwave design and test skills, Joanne was sought by Hewlett-Packard/Agilent Technologies as a Systems/Applications Engineer. She specialized in phase-noise and digital communications measurement and developed training in these areas that she’s presented worldwide, often to seminars of greater than 200 engineers.
Joanne earned a High-Technology MBA from Northeastern University and joined Business Development and Strategic Marketing teams to support technologies including Data-Over-Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS) Cable Modem Test Systems, Set-top Box Application Software, and High-Speed Converters.
Joanne is currently the Business Development Manager for Lockheed Martin Missile & Fire Control, Air & Missile Defense Systems supporting RF/Microwave communication, electronic warfare and missile seeker systems. She is a Certified Capture Manager and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt facilitator and teacher. With her 25+ years of experience to share, Joanne acts as an industry liaison and a Gordon Mentor with Northeastern University.
