MS in Civil Engineering

Total Semester Hours Required: 32 – 33 (depends on discipline)

Students pursing the MS in Civil Engineering with Graduate Certificate in Engineering Leadership must complete 16 Semester Hours of required GEL coursework and 16-17 Semester Hours of coursework in their Civil Engineering discipline.

Please note that for some Civil Engineering disciplines, a petition will be required to count Gordon Program coursework in lieu of restricted electives.  A GEL advisor can guide you through the process.

All students will complete the following required Gordon Engineering Leadership coursework.

They will also complete coursework related to one Civil Engineering discipline (Construction Management, Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical / Geoenvironmental Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Transportation Engineering).
