Sixth Annual Gordon Engineering Leaders Alumni Conference
May 11, 2016
On May 10th, 2016, The Gordon Institute hosted its Sixth Annual Gordon Engineering Leaders Alumni Conference at Northeastern University’s East Village, Seventeenth Floor.
It was a great dinner and cocktail reception that created a unique opportunity for Gordon Fellows from years past to intermingle with recent graduates and current Gordon Candidates.
“The Gordon Institute has always been a great place to come back to. It is a place to get inspired. By the people, the ideas, the mission, and the values on display. I wish I could tap into it more,” said a Gordon Fellow Afshin Chaharmahalianfollowing the event.
In addition to networking and catching up, the event also included an interactive Scrum Workshop, led by Gordon Candidate Adam Wimsatt, that became a fun, team-oriented, friendly competition amongst the participants.
Finally, the Gordon Institute cadre led a Q&A about recent achievements and developments of the Gordon Engineering Leadership Program and discussed its new marketing and social media efforts.
“You can tell the program is in really great shape, especially considering the core team is still there and with the additions that have been made.”
It was a pleasure to host this successful event at the great venue with attractive views of Boston. The Staff and Faculty at the Gordon Institute looks forward to the next annual conference and in the meantime to other opportunities to keep in touch with Gordon Fellows.
