Students GLBT Student Groups GLBT Courses There are three GLBT Student Groups on campus at Northeastern University: the NU Bisexual, Lesbian, Gay, Transgendered and Straight Alliance (NUBiLAGA), the NU Allied Student Coalition (NUASC), and the NU School of Law Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered and Straight Alliance also known as Queer Caucus. The major difference between the different student groups are the populations that they are composed of and their purpose. 1. Communication: The connective body between
Northeastern University and the outside community, linking the respective
gay, lesbian, transgender, questioning, and supportive-straight (GLBTQS)
communities Contact Information: NU School of Law Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Straight Alliance: Queer Caucus: A student/faculty/staff organization dedicated to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender issues at Northeastern University School of Law (NUSL). Queer Caucus is committed to providing a safe and progressive atmosphere for students of all sexual orientations and gender identities. In addition to providing general support and resources for the GLBT community on campus, previous programs have included hosting dinner discussion groups, sending students to regional events sponsored by organizations such as the Human Rights Campaign and the Gay and Lesbian Advocates and Defenders, and organizing educational programs about queer issues.
