The Global Experience Office (GEO) congratulates you on being accepted to the exchange program at Northeastern University! Please carefully review the information below in preparation for your semester or year at NU.

Student Account, ID, and Email

Once you have been officially accepted to NU, you will receive an offer letter with your student ID number and instructions for creating your online student account. Please follow the instructions carefully. Once you’ve successfully created your account, you will be able to sign in to the  MyNEU online portal, where you can manage your classes and student account. The username that you choose will become part of your NU email address. Please begin checking your Northeastern University email daily for important information and updates on courses and housing information.

Orientation

The Global Experience Office and the Office of Global Services (OGS) will hold a mandatory immigration clearance before the first week of courses at the beginning of each term. You must be present, as this is the start of your program date. At these meetings, you will receive information on classes, student ID cards, library services, student activities, and living in Boston. Please visit the OGS website for more information before your arrival.

Checklist

Once you've been admitted to Northeastern's Incoming Exchange Program, modules in the online application portal will provide you with a checklist of items to complete before arrival in Boston.
