Matching Gifts
What are matching gifts?
Matching gifts are a corporation's way of multiplying the benefits of their employees' charitable gifts. If you or your spouse work for a company that offers a matching-gift program, your gift to Northeastern University could be doubled or even tripled. In most cases, all you need to do is complete a form available through your employer.
Does my company match gifts?
Use this search engine to find your or your spouse's company and review its matching-gift policies.
If I work for a matching-gift company, will my gift automatically be matched?
No, gifts are not automatically matched. You need to fill out the matching-gift form available at your human resources office, contact an 800 number to request a match, or do an online request. The search engine will detail your company’s specific matching-gift policy, process, and contact information. If you have further questions about matching gifts, please call the Development Information Systems Office at 617.373.2791, or the Northeastern School of Law Development Office at 617.373.3269.
