Tuition and Financial Aid
Making Foundation Year accessible.
Foundation Year is designed to be accessible to qualified students, regardless of family income or ability to pay. Applicants are required to submit a completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as part of the admissions process. Students will work with financial aid counselors from Northeastern University to customize a funding plan for the program.
Tuition costs for 2012-2013 are approximately $16,000. However, depending on evidence of need (as determined by the FAFSA), many students qualify for a combination of federal grants, state financial aid, and scholarships—all of which significantly reduce out-of-pocket costs.
