Priority Filing Deadlines
- Freshmen Early Action Admits - December 1 (PROFILE only)
- Freshmen Regular Decision Admits - February 15
- Transfer Students - May 1
- Continuing Students - April 1
Northeastern's Admissions Office offers a wide range of scholarships to reward the outstanding achievements of incoming freshman students. For best consideration for all of Northeastern’s scholarships, you should apply for admission in advance of the January 15 deadline date.
Students are not required to complete the financial aid applications to be considered for a merit-based scholarship.
Institutional and Federal Aid
The eligibility of all undergraduate students who file for financial aid will be reviewed for the Northeastern Grant; applicants with demonstrated financial need and academic ability are awarded.
Eligibility for federal grant aid is based on financial need as determined by the information on the FAFSA.
All students who complete a FAFSA are awarded an unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loan. Eligibility for a need-based subsidized Stafford Loan is determined by the information on the FAFSA. Parents of dependent undergraduate students can apply for a Federal PLUS Loans.
For those who qualify, there are federal, state and private educational loan programs which can be used to finance costs in excess of your awarded financial aid.
