Upperclass Student Scholarships

Ayling & Travelli Scholarship (Partial Tuition)

Eligibility Criteria
Nomination by faculty and/or staff members of Northeastern.

Award Amount
Varies according to need.

Renewable?
Renewable for upperclass students who demonstrate financial need, maintain an above-average GPA, participate in extracurricular activities, and display good campus citizenship.

Application Deadline
Nomination deadline is early April.

General Information
Preference is given to those nominees who are in their first two years of study at Northeastern.

LaCLA Scholarship (Full Tuition)


Eligibility Criteria
U.S. citizen or permanent resident of Latin American parents, minimum two terms completed at Northastern, 3.30 GPA, and demonstrated financial need.

Award Amount
Full tuition. Study abroad students billed through Northeastern are eligible for one term only, covering the regular cost of tuition but not the study abroad charge.

Renewable?
Yes (must maintain 3.0 cumulative GPA).

Application Deadline:
February 15 for scholarship application and FAFSA.

General Information
Applicants must submit the LaCLA Scholarship application and a written statement incorporating these themes: heritage, explanation of financial need, career goals, and plans to work on behalf of the Latino community. Recipients are expected to complete 200 hours annually in a community project to promote social awareness of the Boston Latino community. Awardees are nominated by the LaCLA. Scholarship Committee and submitted to Student Financial Services for approval.

Peabody Scholarship (Partial Tuition)

Eligibility Criteria
Active member of the honors program, demonstrated financial need, and above-average academic performance.

Award Amount
$500 to $3,000.

Renewable?
Student must reapply annually following the Honors Program application procedures and meet the above criteria.

Application Deadline
FAFSA application by March 1 and meet the published Honors Program deadline.

ROTC Scholarship (Full Tuition)

Eligibilty Criteria
Seventeen years of age or older; U.S. citizen; 920 SAT; medically and administratively qualified.

Award Amount
Full tuition, fees, and a merit scholarship worth 20% of tuition. Cadets also receive tax-free monthly stipends ranging from $300-$500, depending on year, and $1,200 per year for books.
