Achievement Scholarship (Partial Tuition)

Eligibility Criteria
Awarded for outstanding academic achievement.
Award Amount
$2,000 - $5,000

Renewable?
Yes (must maintain 2.75 GPA).

Application Deadline
Admission application should be submitted by May 1. Do not need to apply for financial aid.

General Information
A non-refundable tuition deposit of $200 is due by May 1st. As a general rule, the scholarship is awarded for a total of 8 academic semesters.

Boston Housing Authority (Full Tuition)

Eligibility Criteria

Residents of Boston Housing Authority (BHA) Public Housing must submit a letter verifying their residence within one month of submitting their admission application.  There is an interview process that informs candidates’ admission and scholarship decision. Section 8 and BHA subsidized housing residents are not eligible for this scholarship. For more information, contact the BHA Community Services Department.

Award Amount
Full tuition.

Yes (must maintain 2.00 cumulative GPA).

Application Deadline
Admission deadline: May 1; FAFSA and Profile deadline: May 1.

General Information
Admission deposit must be paid by May 1 of the year of enrollment. Students must become part of the program during their first year at Northeastern and file for financial aid by the stated deadline every year. Be aware of entrance date for transfer students as it determines the award entitlement. Admission Office identifies eligible applicants. As a general rule, the scholarship is awarded for 8 academic terms.

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship (Partial Tuition)

Eligibility Criteria
Transfer student with at least 32 semester hours of credit (or the equivalent in quarter hours or units), and a 3.0 GPA. U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Award Amount
Up to $5,000 per year.

Renewable?
Yes (must maintain 3.5 cumulative GPA).

Application Deadline
Admission and FAFSA deadline of May 1.

General Information
Applicants must be a member of Phi Theta Kappa at their current school and submit a letter of recommendation from their Phi Theta Kappa advisor to the Transfer Admissions Office.
