The Facilities Customer Service Center is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days per week to serve the needs of the university faculty, staff and students. Our primary mission is to act as the liaison between the university community and the Facilities Division.
The Facilities Customer Service Center staff receives work requests (work orders) from within the university community and distributes them to the appropriate trade/custodial personnel.
All departmental work orders are processed through the Facilities
Customer Service Center. Utilizing Maximo, a Computerized Maintenance
Management System (CMMS), we have the ability to receive work orders
by phone, fax and via the Internet.
How to submit a work order online through MyNEU
Receive, record, print and distribute work orders to trade/custodial
Dispatch trade/custodial personnel to complete work requests
Distribute keys and temporary ID badges to contractors and vendors
Provide paging services
Generate and distribute work order reports for trade supervisors and managers within Facilities
Monitor Energy Management System (EMS) and NUnet Envirocom alarms
Issue confined space permits to trade personnel and contractors
