The Lock Shop services approximately 13,000 doors on campus, which encompasses over 5 million square feet of occupied space. Locks, door hardware, door operators and exit devices are just a few of the devices maintained by our locksmiths. The Lock Shop staff cuts thousands of keys annually to accommodate our clients, assist our students and provide secure access to all spaces old and new.

 

  • Policy On Keys and Keycards– Northeastern University is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff, visitors and guests. The University takes seriously its responsibility to maintain access control of its buildings and properties. The University strives to achieve appropriate physical security while providing efficient and convenient authorized access. Control of keying/carding systems is integral to a comprehensive security program.
