Oversees various internal and external communications efforts to raise the profile of Northeastern as a major research institution with a distinctive learning model that integrates classroom learning with real world professional experience. Works with key stakeholders, including members of the national and global press to increase the visibility of major strategic initiatives, faculty and students, as well as position the top leadership of the institution.
This is a university with an unprecedented trajectory to date and a continued rise with amazing stories to tell. The Communications division develops and implements strategy to tell those stories and to get influencers to tell them. The in-house operation also functions as a digital news organization with high-level online, web, social media and multimedia teams and with an emphasis on creating, packaging and distributing content through various interactive channels and engaging with key audiences.
