Faculty-Undergraduate

The mission of the Faculty/Undergraduate Research Initiative(FURI) is grounded in the belief that effective education includes working with and observing a leader in the field, an understanding that reflects Northeastern's unique approach to experiential learning.

FURI matches undergraduates with esteemed faculty members to assist in their often-groundbreaking research. Students assume a vital role in faculty projects, learning techniques and methodologies in the arena of world-class scholarship and research.

In addition to working as colleagues with outstanding faculty members, building relationships, and gaining invaluable experience, FURI students can earn academic or co-op credit as well as a modest monetary stipend.
