International Experiences

Woven into the academic fabric of Northeastern are numerous exceptional international programs and opportunities offered by individual departments and colleges, and curricula that provide focused global experiences. The following are a few prime examples of these singular programs. For others, browse our individual college and school Web sites, via www.northeastern.edu.

Our internationally known, one-of-a-kind Bachelor of Science in International Business includes a semester studying abroad at one of Northeastern's partner schools, followed by a full-time, four-to-six-month co-op in the host country, conducted in the country's native language.

Northeastern students can major in the interdisciplinary International Affairs Program, which encompasses current and historical explorations of the global environment.

The unique Dialogue of Civilizations Program is a series of offerings open to Northeastern students in international affairs and other majors. Students travel as a group within a host country, meeting and discussing a wide variety of topics with other students and government leaders from that country.

The University's School of Law engages with the international community through two programs. The Program on Human Rights and the Global Economy combines Northeastern's wealth of academic resources and the school's extensive co-op opportunities to promote economic, social, and cultural rights. The school's International Law Opportunities include domestic and international co-ops in NGO's, law firms, agencies, corporations, and the judiciary.
