Global Experience

Because we need to be as comfortable in Singapore and Mexico City as we are in Boston and Los Angeles, Northeastern offers global learning experiences that connect students with the world (96 cities in 52 countries in 2008) in ways both broad and deep.

Our international cooperative education program offers co-op positions in 39 countries, with employers ranging from multinational corporations to international agencies and NGOs. Our intensive, faculty-led Dialogue of Civilizations trips put students on the ground, bringing to life classroom studies in the history, culture, business, politics, and economics of other nations. For a more traditional study-abroad experience, our international study office offers 49 programs in 30 countries.

Whichever options they choose, our students gain a deeper understanding of the world and truly global pathways to lives of fulfillment and accomplishment.
