He completed one co-op at Cobham Defense Systems in a Marketing and Business Development capacity. While at Cobham, Michael worked to bring Cobham‚ force protection solutions to customers across the defense industry and the military.
At the end of his freshman year Michael joined the Northeastern Entrepreneurs Club as treasurer beginning his involvement with entrepreneurship at Northeastern. From there Michael spent his midler year at Northeastern working with IDEA | Northeastern’s Venture Accelerator as marketing officer. At the end of 2010, Michael was promoted to IDEA’s CEO position and spent over a year bringing in operational processes, formalizing its structure, doubling the team, and more than tripling the customer base. Under Michael’s leadership IDEA awarded over $100,000 in Gap Funding to its ventures.
Michael is currently leading the build of an Inside Sales & Services team at DataXu, the #5 fastest growing company in America according to the Inc. 5000. DataXu, headquartered in Boston, is a venture backed start up (Menlo, Flybridge, Atlas and Thomvest), that provides a software platform for marketers allowing them to harness big data and use multivariate decision technology on their digital campaigns.
