Nicole Ledoux is the CEO and Co-Founder of 88 acres foods, a healthy snack food startup that crafts artisan snacks free of the top eight food allergens, made with simple ingredients and designed for everyone to enjoy. 88 acres was a Finalist in the MassChallenge 2013 Venture Accelerator, is a member of Northeastern’s IDEA Venture Accelerator, and is going to market this winter with three flavors of granola bars in various natural grocery, specialty retailer, and corporate channels.
Prior to launching 88 acres, Nicole spent over a decade in finance, in various trading, portfolio management, and business development roles. At State Street, she helped build a new fixed income rates trading business, and was an options trader on the swaption desk. Prior to State Street, she co-managed a $400M physical commodities portfolio for Constellation Energy in London and was a fixed income quantitative analyst at Putnam Investments.
Nicole grew up on an 88-acre organic farm in central Massachusetts. She currently resides in Allston, MA with her husband and co-founder, Rob, and their chocolate lab, Bear.
Nicole holds a BA from UMASS Amherst, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
