General Entrepreneurship
At NU we believe that anyone can become an entrepreneur. Attend the Molloy Speaker Series and the 3 student group events from the College of Business, the 3 panels hosted by the Law School, and the academic talk hosted by the Entrepreneurship faculty to meet with entrepreneurs on campus and in the greater Boston area.
In the College of Business, over 300 students major in entrepreneurship, another 500 take courses in entrepreneurship, and 100 students are placed in entrepreneurship coops each year. The concentration was begun in 1973, the same year that NU tenured its first professor in entrepreneurship. Recently, entrepreneurship has extended into the Law School with the appointment of a Professor of Law and Entrepreneurship. NU, from the beginning, has worked with its students and with the Boston community in aiding entrepreneurs.
