Technology Commercialization

Technology commercialization is the further development of science and technology into commercially viable products and processes. "Attend" an online program about the challenges of technology commercialization.

NU has many examples of technology being spun out from the university. Research done by NU professors and students in the Colleges of Science, Engineering, Computer and Information Science, and Health Sciences has successfully entered into the market place. Because technology commercialization is so difficult, the College of Professional Studies has created a Masters degree in Technology Commercialization. In this program, students are taught the steps in translating technical concepts into commercial success.
