The Art and Science of Raising Money

Description:

The task of raising money can be frustrating and time-consuming for an entrepreneur. This workshop will draw on the collective experience of the audience and the moderator to develop a practical model for thinking through the fund-raising process. We will talk about business plans, customer feedback, presentations, the team, dumb luck, an investor’s appetite for risk, sources of funding, and a host of other factors and requirements that shape investors’ perception of the opportunity.

Part science, part art, thinking through what it takes to raise money can save entrepreneurs time and wasted effort.
