    Blackman Auditorium

    Blackman Auditorium is located at 342 Huntington Avenue in Ell Hall. It is a large theatre/auditorium with both an orchestra and a balcony. The total capacity is 1058 persons. The room has good acoustics and is an ideal place for mid- to large size performances.  Blackman Auditorium hosts many different types of events, including classes, lectures, movies, theatre, dance teams, musical groups, choral groups, and orchestral ensembles.

    Some of the past talent hosted in Blackman includes: Danny Glover, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam (former President of India), Spike Lee, Bj Novak, Nick Swardson, Rob  Van Winkle (a.k.a. Vanilla Ice), Ron Jeremy, Lisa Lampanelli, Norm MacDonald, Seth Meyers, Garrison Keillor, Tedy Bruschi, Bill Nye, Ben Folds, Howie Day,  and Jamie Kennedy.
