What We Do

The Office of University Events provides event production, consulting and referral services to the University community, which includes faculty and staff.

We manage key events hosted by President Joseph E. Aoun that have a broad reach across multiple University constituencies, including students, alumni, friends, donors, and members of the Corporation. We also serve as advisers to and partners with University departments, staff, and faculty on planning and producing a variety of events that help the University advance its Mission.

The Office's work is on display year-round at events like the Annual Faculty and Staff Holiday Party, the CEO Breakfast Forum, the Veterans Day Memorial Celebration and the annual NU Night at the Pops Donor Reception.

Any event planned and produced at or for Northeastern, regardless of its type or size, is a direct reflection of the University and it's commitment to excellence, distinctiveness and innovation. Every event is an opportunity to collaborate, create goodwill, build friendships, raise funds and cast a positive light on the University.

External constituents, like community organizations and corporations should work with the Office of External Events & Conference Housing.

Students who are interested in planning events must go through the Office of Campus Activities.
