Research on Evolution of Spite by Professor Smead Featured in NY Times Article

Prof. Rory Smead’s research on the evolution of spite and cooperation was recently featured in an article in the New York Times. The original research article, “The Evolution of Fairness Through Spite,”  can be found here, and the New York Times article is here.

Prof. Steve Nathanson Testifies in Trial of Pilgrim Nuclear Power Plant Protestors

Prof. Steve Nathanson recently testified in the last day of a trial of 12 protestors who committed acts of civil disobedience by trespassing at the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Plant in Plymouth, Mass. Based on his prior writings about civil disobedience and the moral status of obedience to law, Steve was asked to be an expert witness on the circumstances under which civil disobedience might be justified and how it is supposed to be efficacious form of protest.
