My name is Meghana, and I am a fourth year undergraduate research assistant at the Epstein Lab. I am an international student, born in India and brought up in Dubai, UAE. I am an aspiring doctor and hope to make a difference in the lives of people by practicing and providing health care. Research gives us the ability to think out of the box, be critical, be patient and hold ourselves accountable every step of the way. These are a few skills that will help me in my careers as a health care professional as well as my everyday life. Besides exploring the world, spending time with loved ones and building community through service, playing with microorganisms is my favorite thing to do. All that while collaborating with the amazing members of the Epstein Lab is something I truly cherish!
