Assistant Cooperative Education Faculty, D’Amore-McKim School of Business
Esther Chewning, Assistant Cooperative Education Faculty in the D’Amore-McKim School of Business, manages the Entrepreneurship Co-op Program for the Center.
Her diverse professional experience – inclusive of a technology startup and microenterprise development – has provided her with the necessary insight to understand the business requirements of growing, innovative ventures, and how connecting them with talented, educated, and eager students can have positively-exponential, mutually-beneficial results.
Equally dedicated to both students and employers, Esther readily shares that her greatest reward as a Co-op Coordinator is learning how the cooperative education program has been instrumental in the development of the student and venture, launching them forward to succeed in their respective careers and industry.
Esther also enjoys the collaborative nature of her work and engages daily with students and Cooperative Education Faculty colleagues from across the university.
Immediately prior to her work at Northeastern University, Esther held multiple human resources roles at Harvard University.
