Tablelist, a Boston-based mobile app that makes it easy for partygoers to book tables at nightclubs and lounges and then split the bill with friends if they choose to, has raised $1.5 million led by Boston-based Twitter executive Wayne Chang.
Chang, global head of developer experience for San Francisco-based Twitter, contributed to the round along with Jason Carroll, a founder of New York-based Hudson River Trading.
The money will be used to expand the mobile app to cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington DC and Miami within six months. “(The company) is definitely growing a lot faster than we expected,” said Tablelist’s founder and CEO Julian Jung in an interview.
