Demo Day

“A Celebration of Northeastern Student Entrepreneurship”

Demo Day is the culmination of a series of ideation sessions and bootcamps positioned to jump start any student’s concept into a company. Ventures pitch to an audience of their peers, faculty members, investors and industry professionals and is comprised of two parts.

1) Tabling: students set up a table with information about their companies and talk with attendees about their product and the work they did throughout the semester.

2) Pitching: students then complete a 2 minute pitch in front of 300+ attendees.

Keynote Address:

Each semester, we ask a local entrepreneur, investor, professional to give the Keynote Address at Demo Day.

This past semester we were lucky enough to have Katie Rae speak. She’s one of the biggest names in entrepreneurship in Boston having co-founded Startup Institute, been the Managing Director of TechStars Boston and just started her own fund, Project 11.

We look forward to unique keynote’s each semester, whether they’re about starting companies in Boston, entrepreneurship as a student or the difficulties of going it alone, the address never fails to inspire.
