Marina Macomber joined Northeastern University in July 1997. She has served in various positions within Student Affairs and was promoted to Dean of Campus Life in March of 2006. In this role, she is responsible for providing oversight to all of Residence Life & Housing Services, Campus Activities; the Curry Student Center, and all related operational and technical systems.

Reporting to the Vice President for Student Affairs, Macomber provides direction for the Associate Dean for Residential Life, the Associate Dean of the Student Center and Activities, and other associates to ensure that the campus continues to be a vibrant community which welcomes diversity and sponsors co-curricular activities that enhance the student experience. Additionally, she strives to ensure that residence halls are safe and comfortable living-learning environments, where students are supported towards achieving their academic and co-curricular goals. Macomber holds a bachelor's degree in business management from Merrimack College, a master's in business administration from Bentley College and a master's in higher education administration from Boston College. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in law, policy and society from Northeastern.
