Donor Recognition Societies

Continuing the Tradition, Investing in the Future

Northeastern’s leadership giving societies were created to honor our most generous donors. Whether you join one of the annual leadership giving societies, the Huntington Society, the Frank Palmer Speare Society, or all three, you can take pride in knowing that you, in partnership with with the Board of Trustees, President Joseph E. Aoun, and our academic deans, are advancing the university’s mission and the goals of the Empower campaign.

The Huntington Society

Membership in the Huntington Society honors donors who have made generous commitments of $100,000 or more to Northeastern. Since the society was established more than two decades ago, individual members have expanded opportunities for experiential education for students, developed our talented faculty, and transformed our campus.

Members of the Huntington Society serve five-year terms and are among the closest friends of the university. Their visionary and strategic investment in Northeastern is celebrated at a special event each fall, and their names appear prominently in the annual honor roll of donors. As leaders of the Northeastern philanthropic community, members of the Huntington Society are playing key roles in the Empower campaign.
