BOUVÉ COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES

PREPARING HEALTHCARE LEADERS TO FOSTER HEALTH AND WELL-BEING

Through the Empower campaign, the Bouvé College of Health Sciences will build on its momentum of excellence and rise to meet longstanding and emerging healthcare challenges confronting our global community. Join with us as we pursue this ambitious goal, so that more practitioners of science-based healthcare may be “Bouvé-prepared.”

We celebrate you, our alumni, parents, and friends—the intellectual ambassadors of our work and investors in our future. And we welcome your collaboration.

Together, we will establish endowed deanships for the Bouvé College of Health Sciences and schools of Pharmacy and Nursing to recognize the world-class stature of their deans in their respective fields. Endowing these positions will ensure Bouvé’s continued leadership in preparing interprofessional healthcare leaders.

  • We will establish and grow endowed scholarship funds for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing nursing, pharmacy, counseling and applied psychology, health science, physical therapy, physician assistant, speech-language pathology and audiology, and health informatics. Endowed scholarships will guarantee that Bouvé remains a compelling option for all eminently deserving students while enhancing its competitive advantage over peer colleges.
  • We will create an endowed research fund—one that provides resources for early-career faculty on a competitive basis. Seed investments in their research generate results, which in turn may attract larger grants from private and government sources. This fund, open to all faculty, will invite applications within four core research areas: drug discovery, delivery and diagnostics; urban population health; self-care and self-management; and lifespan/healthy aging.
  • We will establish professorships in areas of excellence identified by the dean of the College of Health Sciences in consultation with the faculty, again within the above-mentioned core areas of research and teaching.

Join us in this historic campaign as we advance Bouvé’s internationally acclaimed health care education, world-class research, and diverse experiential learning opportunities.
