The EdTech Buzz
Innovative teaching andlearning projects

The EdTech Center has responded to the growing need to provide support for technology-related projects by collaborating with faculty teams to design, develop, assess and evaluate technology-related projects in support of:
University courses
For online course management, the University supports Blackboard. Blackboard is a program that allows instructors to create, deliver, and manage web-based components for courses. The EdTech Center's support for Blackboard includes guidance in advanced techniques and effective use of technology in the classroom.
Grant-funded research
The EdTech Center brings together the university resources needed to secure funding; plan, design and implement custom projects; and measure their effectiveness.
University departments
The EdTech Center's Template Program is available to help Northeastern departments, colleges, and academic groups enhance their Web presence while adhering to Northeastern University graphics standards.
The EdTech Center staff offers expertise in grant writing, instructional design, interface design and development, multimedia production, and database design and development. In addition, the EdTech Center will help you assemble a team of experts from around the university to assist in implementing your project.
If you have a project in mind that you would like to collaborate with the EdTech Center on, please contact Alicia Russell, the EdTech Center director via phone at (617) 373-4584 or email at a.russell@neu.edu.
