Anatomy & Physiology

An EdTech Center instructional designer worked with three Biology faculty over three quarters to establish common goals and objectives for all sections of this large-enrollment gateway course. The EdTech Center then designed a portal web site providing common resources for all students. A template Blackboard site was developed that could be copied and enhanced by individual instructors. This site included core concepts and objectives for each chapter of the text, question pools for quizzes, external links, and supporting documents. EdTech staff worked with the textbook publisher to provide access to a common publisher-established site of multimedia resources for all NU A&P students.
