Law, Policy & Society - Student Association

Law, Policy and Society is an interdisciplinary program that offers the Ph.D., M.S., and JD/MS degrees. It prepares students for careers in research, teaching, government, non-profit, or legal institutions. LPS examines law, legal institutions, and public policy from an interdisciplinary social science perspective. The curriculum incorporates a wide range of theoretical perspectives and research methodologies. LPS Students are typically curious, open-minded and active whether they are in academic, professional or community settings. Here you will find some information about what they do in the program while not taking classes, studying for exams or developing their dissertations.
