Portfolios at Northeastern University

December 2006

For the past several years e-portfolio projects have been percolating in different departments on the Northeastern campus. Because e-portfolios are proving to be an effective means of assessing learning outcomes, the EdTech Center has built a central e-portfolio Web site to provide information for members of the university community interested in learning more about e-portfolios. The site will serve as an information-sharing vehicle for faculty, chairs and deans. Featured on the site are e-portfolio projects from Physical Therapy, Biology, Computer & Information Science, and the College of Business. The site will also contain information on e-portfolio projects at other institutions compiled by EdTech e-portfolio project team members Alicia Russell and Laurie Poklop.

The EdTech Center is interested in adding more projects to the site. If you are working on an e-portfolio project, please add your information to the e-portfolio site. Access the online information form by going to the site and clicking on Tell Us About Your Project. Or, go directly to www.nuportfolioproject.neu.edu/tell_us_about_your_project/.
