Ergonomic evals
The students and I completed 20 on site work station evaluations. Each employee was evaluated for proper seating and positioning at their work station, as well as identifying employees at risks for repetitive stress injuries. Pod casting almost complete
The pod casts are going very well. The students have 9 of the 10 educational sessions complete. Each movie is around 10 minutes. The recording has been smooth and takes each student about 60 minutes, to record, review and edit as needed. The students find the best feature is that each slide is recorded individually, so if a correction is needed they only need to re-record that slide. The feedba...

Getting acquainted with the ins and outs of Explain Everything
I have to admit I love this application once I figured out the quirks.
If you would like to create a podcast from a power-point presentation it is possible to download the file directly from drop box (another app I love) but in some cases the alignment goes askew. Best solution so far is to save the power-point as a PNG file and then upload the file of images to the presentation.

Sharing the Ipad with students
After setting up the ipad to use in the classroom and for research purposes I realized that I am unable to lock individual programs from student view. I looked into secret folder and found this is great to hide pictures and videos but not programs and documents. So far the only solution to hiding my mail and calendar is to book mark the web log in and log in using this cumbersome process. For d...
