Next Steps

While this workshop should give you a good start on creating effective PowerPoint presentations, there is much more that the applicaton can do for you.

PowerPoint Help is a good source of easy to follow, step-by-step instructions for many tasks. Here's a quick way to access Help:

1. Type a question in the text box that appears at the top right of the PowerPoint screen.

   
    

2. Choose one of the menu items or topics that Help suggests or refine your question.

   
    

3. Another way to access Help is through the Help menu:

   

4. This opens the Help system, which you can access through one of two tabs in the "Topics" bar on the left:
   • Contents: This tab allows you to search through a Table of Contents organized in a collapsible directory structure.

     
      

   • Search: Enter a keyword, and Help presents you with a list of possible topics.

Help pages can be printed out for easy reference.
