If you save a PowerPoint file as HTML, the presentation can be viewed through a Web browser, and the user does not need to have PowerPoint software or the PowerPoint viewer.
The slides are displayed with a clickable menu of slide titles on the left hand side.

Audio is preserved when a presentation is saved as html, but transitions and animation are not.
To save a PowerPoint file as HTML:

In the directory where you saved the files, you will see an HTML file with the name you have typed (the index page for the presentation), and a file folder containing all of the HTML files that make up the presentation.
To open the presentation in a browser, create a link to the index file. If you move the presentation to a Web server, make sure you load both the index page and the folder of HTML files.
