Choose and Apply a Design

To select a slide design for your presentation:

1. Do one of the following:
   • Start a new document, choosing From Design Template in the task pane, OR
   • In the Format menu, choose Slide Design.

   The Slide Design task pane appears on the right of the screen.

   

2. At the top of the pane, select Design Templates. Templates are presented in three sections: the design of current presentation, other designs you have selected in the past, and all available designs.
3. Scroll through the designs and click on the one you want to select. You can preview a design by clicking on it.

If you create a presentation using a design, and do not alter the formatting, you can select a different design later without having to alter the file.
