There are two ways to add titles or bulleted text to a PowerPoint slide.
The first is to simply click on the slide in Normal view and type. The second is to type text in the Outline tab of Normal view. If you are entering text in this way, pressing the Enter key will insert a new slide.
To change this new slide to a bullet on the previous slide, press the increase indent icon in the formatting toolbar. You can use the standard Microsoft text formatting tools to format text on a slide.
Caution: Remember that if you apply formatting to text, this formatting may make it difficult to apply a new design template to the presentation.
Try it! Practice adding text to a slide in Normal view and also using the Outline tab.
