"Hands On!" Session: PDFs, ePubs, other eBook formats, what's the difference and why should I care?

In this Hands-On session we'll discuss some key differences between a few of the most popular "eBook" formats that are available today and consider some of the benefits and short-comings. Then we'll investigate how to produce them to include interactivity, audio and video. Finally we examine how to deliver the content over the internet.

Hands On! Workshops are held once a month and taught by Seth Merriam, EdTech's Web Services Manager and Multimedia Designer. During each workshop you will get hands-on practice with a new technology skill, and share ideas with colleagues about ways to use it for teaching and learning.
