Thu, March 17 2005, 9:30 - 2:30
McLeod Suites

On Thursday, March 17, 2005, from 9:30 to 2:30 in the McLeod Suites, the EdTech Center will host a conference on integrating teaching, technology and library resources. This event will feature demonstrations by faculty whom students have nominated for effective or innovative uses of technology in teaching. Faculty demonstrations will be paired with "how-to" mini-workshops featuring tips to help you use these techniques in your own courses.

Co-sponsored by the EdTech Center; Center for Effective University Teaching; University Libraries; Academic Technology Services, Information Services; and the Provost's Office, the conference will highlight custom technology tools, new technology products, Blackboard tips & tricks and other great ideas you can incorporate into your teaching. An iPod will be raffled off during the day.

Additionally, the winners of the second annual EdTech teaching with technology awards will be announced. More than 200 faculty were nominated by 400 students for effective or innovative use of technology in their courses.
