Harnessing Information Technology

EdTech Director Alicia Russell delivered the keynote address at an international conference on information technology held in Ballyconnell, Ireland, in the spring of 2000. Her web-based presentation offers examples of three US universities' attempts to create a campus that supports the use of technology to enhance teaching and learning. Russell explores the answers from two different perspectives-that of policy makers and that of information technologies staff. An annotated resource list with links to organizations, print and online publications, and electronic discussion groups is included.
